Welcome to the Gator Sport Management Organization. Membership is open to all UF students, regardless of academic major or year, who are interested in careers in the sports industry. The Gator Sport Management Organization provides access to industry alumni and like-minded peers, networking and experiential opportunities, and career resources for our members across all levels of sport organizations and sectors. We connect with prominent sports figures and successful alumni to offer relevant career opportunities and meaningful insights, unique to the Gator Sport Management Organization. Dr. Brian Avery is our faculty advisor. Dr. Avery is an experienced professional with over 30 years in the events, venues, and attractions industry, specializing in risk and safety management, event design, attraction, operations, and education.
